1. Overview & Commitment to Privacy

CharmSignal Proxy is a VPN service designed with a strict no-logs philosophy. We do not collect, store, log, or otherwise retain any information that could be used to identify you, track your online activity, or link your usage to a specific individual.

2. Information We Explicitly Do NOT Collect

• Your real IP address at any point
• Connection start/end timestamps
• Session duration
• Bandwidth usage per user
• Visited websites or destinations
• DNS queries originating from your device
• Any form of personally identifiable information (name, email, phone, payment data, etc.)
• Device identifiers (IMEI, advertising ID, hardware serials, etc.)
• Location data (GPS, cell tower, Wi-Fi positioning)

3. Third-Party Components & SDKs

CharmSignal Proxy integrates the following third-party services/SDKs:

• Google Mobile Services (Play Services / Firebase)
• Firebase Crashlytics & Performance Monitoring
• Google AdMob (for free version advertisements)
• One or more advertising mediation platforms

These components may collect certain anonymized, non-personally identifiable technical data for their own operational purposes (crash reports, ad personalization signals, etc.). CharmSignal Proxy itself does NOT receive, access, store or process any of this data.

Advertising in the Free Version

The free version of CharmSignal Proxy displays advertisements. Ad networks may collect:

• Approximate (city-level) location derived from IP
• Device type, OS version, screen size
• Advertising identifier (IDFA/AAID – resettable by user)
• General app usage patterns (for frequency capping & relevance)

We do not control or have access to what ad networks ultimately collect or infer.

4. Data Security Measures (Despite No Data Storage)

• All VPN connections use strong modern encryption protocols
• Perfect Forward Secrecy (PFS) is enforced
• DNS leak protection is enabled by default
• IPv6 leak protection is enabled by default
• Kill-switch / always-on VPN behavior (platform dependent)
• Regular independent security code review of client applications

5. Children’s Privacy

Our service is not directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

6. Policy Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The most current version will always be posted on this page with the “Last Updated” date at the bottom. Continued use of CharmSignal Proxy after any change constitutes your acceptance of the new policy.
